Knights Get Their 5th Straight Win with Dramatic Finish Over Multnomah | CC0 Marcos Romero-Turner

The Knights earned their fifth win in a row when they beat Multnomah by a score of 92-87.

Warner Pacific (12-5, 9-3) traveled up the road to finish their season series against Multnomah (11-7, 6-6) on Tuesday.

The game started out with plenty of back and forth action. The first half alone saw 8 lead changes between the two teams. Despite the Lions having a sizeable turnover advantage in the first half, the Knights remained competitive and held the Lions to just a three-point lead at halftime.

While the Lions held their lead for the early goings of the second half, the Knights remained within striking distance. Warner held Multnomah to a single digit lead before fighting back and tying the game up with 12 minutes left to go. From there, the Knights and Lions would trade leads multiple times until the game was tied up with five minutes left.

Momentum shifted in favor of the Knights in the closing minutes as they were able to maintain a lead for the first time all game. Warner helped close out the game thanks in part to their free throw shooting as they went 9-10 from the line in the final five minutes.

The Knights had a number of big performances in the game. Isaac Etter was an offensive machine, scoring 26 points and recording 6 assists. Dakota Reber continued his hot play as of late, scoring 26 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Warner also got a big performance off the bench from Maxwell Moses who had 18 points and 7 rebounds.

The win puts Warner at 12-5 on the season. Men's basketball is in action on Jan. 20 when they take on Bushnell.
