The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles announced on April 2 that the Canyonville DMV office at 241 N. Main is closed for the day because of staffing issues.

The closure may affect residents who planned to visit the office for in-person services. The department said customers might be able to complete their transactions online using DMV2U, which provides more than 30 different services around the clock.

No information was provided about when the Canyonville location will reopen or whether similar closures are expected elsewhere in the region.

For assistance, customers can contact DMV staff by phone at 503-945-5000 or by email at oregondmv@odot.oregon.gov. Additional information and online services are available at oregondmv.com.
