Beaver State News has submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the University Of Oregon seeking detailed records on employee compensation for the fiscal year 2025. The request, sent under the Oregon Public Records Law, §192.410 et seq., aims to obtain this information in an electronic format.

The request specifically asks for comprehensive records or reports that include several data fields related to university employees. These fields are: Employee Name, Employee Gender (if recorded), Employee Age or Year of Birth (if not exempt), Employee Date of Birth (if not exempt or if limited to month/year), Employer Name, Employee Title or Position, Employee Hire Date, Employee Compensation Amount (base pay and any additional pay), Employee Compensation Type (e.g., salary, hourly, stipend, bonus), and Employment Type (full-time or part-time).
