The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the City of Gold Beach have launched an online open house to gather public input on transportation improvements in Gold Beach. The open house is available through Friday, Jan. 23, and can be accessed via the project webpage: ODOT – Gold Beach U.S. 101 Community Connections Plan.
The initiative, known as the Gold Beach U.S. 101 Community Connections Plan, aims to identify and evaluate projects that will enhance safety and connectivity for all users of local roadways while supporting economic development goals in the area.
In addition to the online feedback opportunity, residents are invited to attend an in-person town hall hosted by Gold Beach Main Street on Jan. 13. The meeting will focus on Ellensburg Avenue and the downtown corridor, with time allotted for questions about the community connections plan. Feedback collected at this event will be shared with ODOT’s project team. Details about the town hall can be found on the GBMS website: GBMS Town Hall Meeting.
For more information or to download a flyer about the plan, interested parties can visit the project website: U.S. 101 Gold Beach Community Connections Plan.
