The Lane Area Commission on Transportation (LaneACT) will hold a meeting to discuss the 2027-2030 Draft Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which outlines state and federally funded transportation projects. The meeting is scheduled for February 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the ODOT Springfield office, located at 2080 Laura Street in Springfield, Oregon. Participants can also join virtually through Microsoft Teams or by phone.

The STIP serves as Oregon’s capital improvement plan for transportation infrastructure. Attendees of the LaneACT meeting will have an opportunity to learn more about proposed projects included in the draft plan. The agenda for the meeting is available on the LaneACT webpage.

An online open house for the 2027-2030 STIP is currently available, offering an interactive map that allows users to view proposed projects in their communities. The online open house will remain accessible until March 20.

Accommodations are available for people with disabilities, and materials can be provided in alternative formats upon request. For accommodation requests, individuals should contact Bill Johnston at least 48 hours before the event.

According to ODOT, “We do not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to our programs, services, activities, hiring, and employment practices. ODOT is an EEO/AA Employer.” The department also states that “Access for pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will be available through or around work zones.”

Travelers seeking up-to-date road conditions and travel information can use TripCheck.com, which provides real-time updates on road status and weather across Oregon.

For questions about the upcoming meeting or STIP process, Mindy McCartt serves as Public Information Officer and can be reached at 503-507-6045.

Translation and interpretation services are offered for those needing assistance in languages other than English or requiring ADA accommodations.

Individuals interested in learning more or staying informed about future updates are encouraged to share information with others and sign up for email notifications from ODOT.
