The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has closed its Madras office at 249 S.W. Third St. today because of staffing issues. People who need DMV services are advised to visit the nearest offices in Redmond or Prineville.

The DMV recommends that customers check if their needs can be met online at dmv2u.oregon.gov, which provides access to more than 30 different transactions around the clock.
