The Northeast Area Commission on Transportation is scheduled to meet on Thursday, January 8, from 9 a.m. to noon Pacific Time at the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Region 5 office in La Grande. An Area Commission on Transportation serves as an advisory body established by the Oregon Transportation Commission to address various aspects of transportation across regions. The Northeast Area Commission on Transportation consists of community leaders and partners from Morrow, Umatilla, Wallowa, Union, and Baker counties, along with representatives from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
