Oregon Department of Transportation announces December advisory committee meetings

Several advisory committees under the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) are scheduled to hold public meetings in December. The agency announced that details for these and other committee meetings can be found on its “Get Involved” website as well as Oregon’s Public Meetings website.

The following ODOT advisory committees have set meeting dates:
– Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m.
– Governor’s Advisory Committee on DUII, Dec. 5 at 9 a.m.
– Oregon Transportation Safety Committee, Dec. 10 at 9:30 a.m.
– Oregon Transportation Commission, Dec. 11 at 9 a.m.
– Mobility Advisory Committee, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m.
– Traffic Control Devices Advisory Committee, Dec. 12 at 9 a.m.
– Rail Advisory Committee, Dec. 16 at 9 a.m.
– Continuous Improvement Advisory Committee, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m.

According to ODOT, “There may be other committees meeting during the month as well.” The agency encourages the public to check online resources for updates and additional information about upcoming meetings.

ODOT stated that all meetings are open to everyone and accommodations will be provided for people with disabilities or those needing materials in alternate formats. The department advises individuals seeking accommodations to visit the public meetings website and sort by meeting name to find contact information for each specific meeting. People who are deaf or hard of hearing can call statewide relay at 7-1-1.
