The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is inviting the public to attend a series of in-person meetings to learn about the proposed projects included in the 2027-2030 Draft Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The STIP serves as ODOT’s capital improvement plan for state and federally funded transportation projects.

The first meeting will take place on March 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Officers’ Mess Hall Port of Tillamook Bay, located at 6825 Officer Row, Tillamook, OR. Additional meetings are scheduled for March 9 at the ODOT Astoria office in Clatsop County and March 11 at the Columbia County Road Department in St. Helens. All venues offer accessible parking near their front entrances.

For those unable to attend any of these events, ODOT has provided an online open house where community members can view an interactive map detailing proposed projects in their areas. The online platform will remain available until March 20.

Accommodations for people with disabilities and materials in alternative formats are available upon request by contacting Caroline Crisp at 503-313-6812 or through the statewide relay service at 7-1-1, with requests needed at least 48 hours prior to attendance.

ODOT encourages community members to share information about these events so others can stay informed and sign up for email updates regarding ongoing transportation initiatives.

Translation and interpretation services are also offered. For ADA Title II or Civil Rights Title VI accommodations or more information, individuals can call TTY (800) 735-2900 or use Oregon Relay Service: 7-1-1.

ODOT states: “We do not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to our programs, services, activities, hiring, and employment practices. ODOT is an EEO/AA Employer.”

Access through work zones will be maintained for pedestrians, including those with disabilities.

Travelers seeking current road conditions and weather updates can visit TripCheck.com, which provides real-time travel information throughout the year.
