The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is collaborating with Tillamook County to update the county’s Transportation System Plan (TSP), a key document that guides long-term transportation projects and policies. The last update to the TSP was in 2005.

ODOT and Tillamook County are seeking public input to ensure the plan reflects the current and future needs of the community. Residents are encouraged to participate by attending an in-person community event scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hebo Fire Station Community Room, located at 30710 Highway 101 S in Cloverdale.

Accommodations will be provided for people with disabilities, and materials can be made available in alternative formats. Caroline Crisp is available for accommodation requests at 503-313-6812 or through statewide relay at 7-1-1 with at least 48 hours’ notice.

For those unable to attend in person, an online open house will be available from October 20 through November 9 on the project’s webpage. Additional information can be obtained by contacting Mindy McCartt, Public Information Officer, at 503-507-6045.

Translation and interpretation services are offered for ADA Title II or Civil Rights Title VI accommodations by calling TTY (800) 735-2900 or using the Oregon Relay Service at 7-1-1.

“We do not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to our programs, services, activities, hiring and employment practices. ODOT is an EEO/AA Employer.”

ODOT also reminds residents that pedestrian access—including for those with disabilities—will remain available through or around work zones. Road condition updates are accessible at TripCheck.com or by calling 5-1-1. The department is currently recruiting for several positions; applications can be submitted at ODOTJobs.com.
