The political action committee for Oregon’s leading small business association announced on April 13 its first round of endorsements for the Oregon House of Representatives in the upcoming 2026 election.
The announcement matters because it signals which lawmakers are seen as strong supporters of small businesses, a key sector in Oregon’s economy. The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) OR PAC has backed 16 incumbent representatives based on their support for small business issues over the past two years. Further endorsements, including those for the Oregon Senate and additional House seats, will be released at a later date.
“Time and time again, these lawmakers have stood up for Oregon’s small business owners on the issues that most directly impact their ability to own, operate, and grow their businesses,” said Anthony Smith, state director for NFIB in Oregon. “Our endorsement tells voters and the wider public that these legislators consistently make small business a top priority.”
The endorsed incumbents are Court Boice (HD01), Virgle Osborne* (HD02), Dwayne Yunker (HD03), Alek Skarlatos (HD04), Kim Wallan (HD06), Darin Harbick (HD12), Shelly Boshart Davis* (HD15), Kevin Mannix* (HD21), Anna Scharf* (HD23), Lucetta Elmer* (HD24), Darcey Edwards (HD31), E. Werner Reschke (HD55), Emily McIntire (HD56), Bobby Levy* (HD58), Vikki Breese-Iverson (HD59) and Mark Owens (HD60). An asterisk denotes NFIB members among them.
NFIB has been active since its founding in 1943 as an advocate exclusively dedicated to representing America’s small and independent business owners at both state and national levels. The organization describes itself as nonprofit, nonpartisan, member-driven, and focused solely on advancing the interests of this community.
