Oregon Transportation Commission sets Oct. 27 agenda including bridge projects and budget updates

The Oregon Transportation Commission is scheduled to hold its regular meeting on Monday, October 27, beginning at 8 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Gail Achterman Conference Room at the Transportation Building, located at 355 Capitol Street NE in Salem.

Agenda items include an update on the recent legislative session and its effects on the Oregon Department of Transportation’s budget and operations. Commissioners will also consider amending the 2024-2027 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program to add the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program.

The commission will receive an update on the Center Street Seismic Retrofit project, including current cost estimates and steps being taken to manage potential risks. Additionally, there will be an informational update regarding the completion of the DMV Data Integrity Review and program audit results for Oregon Motor Voter.

A summary of internal audit reports will be presented, covering Partial Payment Processing, Subcontractor Payment Monitoring and Reporting, as well as compliance by ODOT’s Office of Procurement with state procurement delegation requirements.

As part of this meeting, commissioners will participate in a Capital Investment Plan workshop starting at 10:20 a.m. at the same location. Meeting materials are available through the OTC Website.

Members of the public wishing to provide comments can submit them in advance or sign up for public comment either in person or virtually by completing a form on www.oregon.gov/odot/Get-involved/Pages/OTC_Main.aspx before noon on Friday, October 24. Only one representative per organization may participate, with priority given to first-time commenters.

Written comments can also be emailed to OTCAdmin@odot.oregon.gov or mailed to Oregon Transportation Commission, ATTN: Commission Assistant, 355 Capitol Street NE, MS11, Salem OR 97301. Comments submitted electronically via the OTC website by noon on October 24 will be included in the meeting packet; others will be shared with commissioners after the meeting.
