The Oregon women’s golf team finished in ninth place at the 2026 Big Ten Championships after completing play on April 26. The Ducks posted a total score of 38-over par, shooting a final round of 17-over par at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, California.

This result concludes Oregon’s run in the conference tournament and sets up anticipation for their NCAA Regional selection. The announcement is scheduled to air on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, April 29.

During the final round, Oregon struggled to make birdies, with the five-player lineup combining for six overall. The team’s four counting scorers shot eight over par on the front nine and nine over par on the back nine. Sophomore Tong An led Oregon individually with a tie for twentieth place at eight over par but faced challenges early in her round that resulted in a seven-over-par score of seventy-seven.

Darae Chung and Sophie Han each carded three-over-par seventy-threes in the last round, while Annika Ishiyama followed closely with a four-over-par seventy-four. Karen Tsuru completed her tournament tied for fiftieth after shooting seventy-four, seventy-four, and seventy-seven across three rounds.

Oregon competed without junior Kiara Romero—last year’s Big Ten individual champion and currently ranked as the number one amateur golfer worldwide—as she was participating in an LPGA major event during this time. As a result of this performance, Oregon’s streak of twenty-one consecutive top-five finishes came to an end.

Looking ahead, attention turns to Wednesday’s NCAA women’s golf selection show when teams will learn their postseason fate.
