OSAAtoday released its statewide Softball Coaches Polls across all classifications on April 14. The polls reflect the opinions of coaches who contributed their time and expertise to rank teams during the spring season.

The poll is intended to generate interest and discussion among teams and fans. It does not influence the Oregon School Activities Association’s RPI or Colley ratings, which are used for official playoff rankings.

In Class 6A, Glencoe leads with a record of 10-1, followed closely by West Linn and Sherwood, both tied for second place. In Class 5A, Caldera holds the top spot with an undefeated record of 11-0. Scappoose leads in Class 4A with a record of 10-1, while Dayton tops Class 3A at 11-2. Weston-McEwen ranks first in the combined Class 2A/1A poll at 7-1.

The rankings include information about first-place votes received by each team, previous rankings, and records through Sunday prior to release. Teams that dropped out since the last poll are also noted alongside others receiving significant votes.

According to OSAAtoday, these polls will be published every other Tuesday throughout the spring season.
