The West Coast Conference announced on April 21 that the Portland Pilots women’s beach volleyball team will compete as the No. 7 seed in the upcoming 2026 WCC Beach Volleyball Tournament, facing No. 2 seed Pepperdine in the first round. The match is scheduled for Thursday, April 23 at 11:30 a.m. at Ocean Park Beach in Santa Monica, California.

The tournament features a double-elimination format over two days, with matches set for April 23 and April 24. If Portland wins its opening match against Pepperdine, it will advance to play the winner of Saint Mary’s versus Pacific later that afternoon. A loss would move them into an elimination match against either Saint Mary’s or Pacific.

According to the bracket released by the conference, additional matches on Thursday include Santa Clara facing San Francisco and top-seeded LMU awaiting its opponent from those early contests. All matches will be broadcast live on ESPN+, and fans can follow live statistics through PortlandPilots.com.

Portland enters the tournament with a season record of four wins and twenty-one losses. The event brings together teams from across the conference for two days of competition culminating in a championship dual on Friday afternoon.

Fans interested in attending can find ticket information and details about group packages through PortlandPilots.com or by contacting the Pilots box office directly.
