Portland began play against No. 2 seed Pepperdine, falling 4-0 after a forfeit at flight one and straight-set defeats across other flights. In their second dual, Portland secured a victory over No. 6 Pacific by a score of 4-1, earning points from pairs Leonie Freytag and Elin Larsson (flight one), Tate Mercer and Sarah Incitti (flight two), Michela Strati and Nyah Mitchell (flight four), and Jeryn Hildenbrand and Josie Povey (flight five).
