Rogue Credit Union announced on April 10 that it will begin its annual Change a Child’s Life Week fundraiser on Monday, April 20. The event is designed to support local children and families through the Children’s Miracle Network.

The campaign aims to raise funds for critical treatments, equipment, and care at regional children’s hospitals. Organizers say all donations remain in the local community, directly benefiting area hospitals.

This year’s effort highlights stories of children such as Zeke, Riley, Maddie, and Shine—each of whom received care at their respective regional hospitals for serious medical conditions. Zeke was treated for leukemia at Asante; Riley received care for premature birth at PeaceHealth Sacred Medical Center; Maddie was treated for Wilms kidney cancer at St. Luke’s Children’s; and Shine received treatment for a genetic mutation at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

Community members can participate by donating online, visiting Rogue Credit Union branches—which will compete to be top fundraisers—or purchasing from participating food trucks stationed at select branch locations during the week. For example, Rolling Smoke BBQ will be present in Central Point from April 20-25; Toasted Cheese will appear in South Medford on April 24; and Victory Dogs will serve Eagle Point from April 24-25.

Change a Child’s Life Week runs from April 20 through April 25. Rogue Credit Union describes itself as a member-owned financial cooperative with assets nearing $3.8 billion and over $2.2 billion in loans serving more than 216,000 members across Oregon, Idaho, and California counties.
