Southeast Area Commission on Transportation schedules July meeting in Burns

The Southeast Area Commission on Transportation is scheduled to convene on Thursday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to noon Pacific Standard Time at the Harney County Courthouse in Burns. The meeting will also be accessible from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.

According to the organizers, “the meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities, per the Americans with Disabilities Act,” and “the public is invited to attend.” Those interested can join via phone by dialing 1-971-277-1965 and entering meeting code 937 179 755#.

The agenda includes updates on state, county, and city transportation projects as well as other related topics. Public comments regarding project proposals and transportation-related issues are welcome during the session. This commission consists of transportation partners from Malheur, Grant, and Harney counties along with representatives from the Burns-Paiute Tribes. The commission serves as an advisory body chartered by the Oregon Transportation Commission to address various aspects of transportation.
