Warner Pacific Men’s Basketball Adds All-Defensive Player in Transfer Guard Kaleb Mack

Warner Pacific University Men's Basketball Head Coach Jamayne Potts announced this afternoon, on July 6th, the signing of transfer junior guard Kaleb Mack to the 2022 Men's Basketball recruiting class.

"We are very excited to have Kaleb join our program! He is an outstanding young man who will bring a strong defensive presence to our team and a lot of athleticism," Coach Potts shared.

Potts continued with, "Kaleb also has the ability to score multiple ways, and understands how to play the right way because he has a great feel for the game. We can't wait to get Kaleb on campus to get to work!"

Mack originally attended Sparkman High School, located just outside of his hometown of Huntsville, Alabama. He played four seasons of Varsity Boys' Basketball while at SHS, earning All-Defensive Player honors during his time.

Collegiately, Mack first attended Gadsden State Community College, and played in 19 games for the Cardinals. He averaged 3.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in those 19 contests, recording a then career-high of 10 points against Florida State College.

From GSCC, Mack then transferred to Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, California, where the 6'5 guard played in another 19 games, rising his point per game average to 7.0 by shooting 42% from the field, and hauling in 1.9 rebounds and dishing out 1.2 assists per game.

Mack will be continuing the pursuit of a degree in Sociology while at Warner Pacific, and Coach Potts and the Knights look forward to adding his talents to the hardwood during the 2022-23 season.
