The Knights struggled once again in game two. They were stimied by Owls pitcher Mckenzie Staub (9-3) who threw a five inning perfect game giving up no hits, no runs, and no walks.

The Owls scored two in the first, one in the second, one in the third, and seven in the fourth to make the score 11-0 and putting the run limit rule into effect after the fifth inning.

The Knights go to 1-15 overall and are 1-11 in conference play. The Knights even though they're struggling are learning a lot are still a very young team. They have 2 freshman, 3 sophomores, 3 juniors, and 4 seniors. They are also under a new head coach in former alumni Ashton Porter so everyone is learning as they go along and these growing pains are apart of growing up as a player, coach, and team.

Next Up
The Knights will be looking for some home cooking next week as they come home to Erv Lind Stadium to take on the College of Idaho in a two day doubleheader four game series. They'll play Friday the 24th at 2pm and 4pm and Saturday the 25th at 11am and 1pm.
