State offices closed in Oregon due to inclement weather

Due to inclement weather, state offices in several regions are closed on Thursday, February 13, 2025. The affected areas include the Portland metro area, which encompasses Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, and Washington counties. Additionally, the Salem metro area is impacted, covering Benton, Linn, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties. Offices in Clatsop, Lane, Lincoln, and Tillamook counties are also closed.

For further updates regarding state office closures due to weather conditions or other reasons, individuals are advised to visit the official website at www.oregon.gov/das.

In related news for travelers in 2025: Starting May 7th of that year, federally accepted identification will be required for flying. It is important for travelers to ensure they are REAL ID ready by this date.
