In the third quarter of 2025, 39 Food and Cosmetics companies received 41 FDA inspections in Oregon, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This was the highest number of inspections per type of company made by the FDA in Oregon, equalling 97.6% of all inspections in the third quarter of 2025.

Of all the Oregon companies involved in the Food and Cosmetics sector, Sauvie Island Farms received the most citations from the FDA in the third quarter of 2025.

The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplace and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health. Inspection results are then disclosed publicly.
