OPB FEATURES THE PSU FOOD PANTRY'S WORK COMBATING TRAUMA IN FOOD ACCESSIBILITY
"The food pantry has been a crucial resource for students" writes Meerah Powell. "Shortages caused by the pandemic have intesified anxiety and trauma around food scarcity" and "there's more need in the community than the food pantry is currently able to serve in its small space."
The PSU Food Pantry is currently closed for the winter break, and is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. The pantry's monthy Free Food Market in the PSU Park Blocks will be held on January 9.
