The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has announced its endorsement of Monique DeSpain for the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Oregon’s 4th Congressional District. The NFIB is recognized as a prominent advocate for small businesses across the nation.
Anthony Smith, NFIB's Oregon State Director, expressed support for DeSpain by stating, “Monique DeSpain has a demonstrated record of leadership and service. Her impressive background and valuable experience will make her a reliable ally who is willing to stand up for small business priorities. We are confident Monique DeSpain will champion pro-small business policies in Congress and we are proud to endorse her today.”
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also commented on the endorsement: “Monique DeSpain will be an advocate for small businesses across Oregon. She understands the issues important to NFIB members and has pledged to make them a priority in Congress. We are proud to endorse her today and look forward to working together.”
This endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, which is the political action committee of the organization. It is supported through voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their membership dues. The decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are driven by member evaluations at the grassroots level.
