The Knights got back on track and back in the win column in their game against Corban on Saturday.

Warner Pacific (13-6, 10-4) came into the matchup against the Warriors (13-6, 9-4) looking to rebound after an unusually poor performance in a loss yesterday against Bushnell.

The Knights got out to a strong start, quickly jumping out to a 9 point lead over the Warriors. The Knights kept up the pace offensively throughout the first half, shooting nearly 70% from the field and having three players scoring in the double digits. The strong offensive performance gave Warner a 9 point lead going into the half.

While the Knights led all throughout the first half, Corban made things interesting when they fought back and eventually gained their only lead of the game with 13 minutes left to play. The Knights quickly regained their lead and baskets from Isaac Etter and Thomas Miles helped give Warner a 7 point lead.

The Knights were able to close out the game thanks in part to some to clutch plays in the final moments. With two minutes left in the game and the Knights up by five, Isaac Etter got a huge offensive rebound that forced the Warriors to begin fouling the Knights and sending them to the free-throw line. Caleb Tyree-Morgan also had a massive block with a minute left in the game to keep the Warriors at bay and help the Knights close out the win by a score of 75-68.

The Knights had four players score at least 10 points. Isaac Etter led the way with 20 points, not far behind was Thomas Miles who had 19. Dakota Reber turned in another strong performance, scoring 14 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Maxwell Moses also provided another boost off of the bench for the Knights, scoring 10 points and bringing in 7 rebounds.

The win puts the Knights at 13-6 on the year. Warner Pacific men's basketball is back in action on Jan. 27 when they travel to take on Southern Oregon.
