The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Oregon has endorsed Will Lathrop for the position of state attorney general. This endorsement comes from the political action committee associated with Oregon's largest small business association.

Anthony Smith, the Oregon state director for NFIB, stated, "Will Lathrop has the experience needed to take on drug traffickers, vandals, and those engaged in organized retail theft." He further added that Lathrop is committed to ensuring state agencies adhere to laws and enforcing anti-corruption measures. Smith expressed confidence that Lathrop would support small businesses across Oregon.

Lathrop responded to the endorsement by saying, “I am honored and grateful to earn the endorsement of NFIB and its members. I am an experienced prosecutor, proven leader, and dedicated public servant – not a politician.” He emphasized his commitment to addressing organized crime and supporting small businesses facing challenges in Oregon.

NFIB represents small business owners who typically employ about 10 people and report annual gross sales around $500,000. The organization has been advocating for small businesses since its founding in 1943.
