NFIB prepares annual Small Business Day in Salem on April 23

NFIB is set to host its annual Small Business Day event on April 23 in Salem. The gathering offers a platform for small business owners to engage with state lawmakers, receive updates on relevant policies, and express their views on critical issues affecting Oregon's small business community.

The event requires advance registration. A variety of topics will be discussed, including striking workers, transportation, contractor liability, the 20% small business tax deduction, NFIB federal priorities, and small business advocacy, among others.

The program will take place at the NFIB Oregon state office located at 1149 Court St., NE, in Salem. The schedule for the day includes registration and networking from 11:30 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch until 12:45 p.m. Discussions on various issues and legislative meetings will occur from 12:45 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to share their insights and ideas on furthering the support and growth of small businesses in Oregon. Registration assistance is available through Grassroots Manager Stacy Jenkins via email at stacy.jenkins@nfib.org.

The 2025 Small Business Day will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the NFIB Oregon State Office in Salem.
