The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) has announced the opening of the Agriculture Workforce Housing Grant application period starting January 17, 2025. This program offers $5 million in funding to assist housing operators in meeting OR-OSHA requirements, thereby ensuring compliance with essential health and safety standards.
Applications are accepted until March 18, 2025. Eligible applicants must operate an OR-OSHA-registered agriculture workforce housing site and submit a completed application form. The required materials include proof of registration, a project description, and a detailed budget. These can be accessed on the ODA website at https://oda.direct/grants.
To assist applicants with the process, ODA will host two virtual open houses on January 24, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., and March 7, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. These sessions will cover program details, provide step-by-step guidance for completing applications, and offer live Q&A opportunities with ODA staff.
Interested parties can sign up for GovDelivery email notifications on the ODA website to receive updates about the program. Additional information is available on ODA's Grant webpage or by emailing grants@oda.oregon.gov.
