Construction is set to commence on the Rogue River Bridge, Gold Hill Spur on Oregon 99, with significant preparatory activities slated to start April 1, 2025. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in an online open house where they can learn about the project, sign up for updates, and engage with project representatives.
Night inspections on the bridge are scheduled for the evening of April 1, 2025, starting at 6 p.m. and continuing into the early morning hours. This activity is in advance of the major work expected to begin in 2026. "We are anticipating a single lane closure with flagging," stated the project team, indicating the potential for minor travel disruptions during these inspections.
The construction phase, expected to commence in summer 2026, will necessitate a full closure of the bridge for most of the construction period. Residents and commuters are advised to monitor project updates for further details.
