The public has an opportunity to learn more about the upcoming Center Street Bridge Seismic Retrofit project. Those interested can attend an open house on Thursday, April 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pringle Hall Community Center, located at 606 Church Street SE. Accessible parking is available at the front entrance.
The event aims to inform attendees about the project and its potential impacts. Accommodations will be offered for individuals with disabilities, and materials can be provided in alternative formats. Participants are encouraged to call 541-337-9519 or statewide relay 7-1-1 at least 48 hours before the event for any necessary accommodations.
For those unable to attend in person, the same information shared at the open house will be available online. An updated invite will be sent when the online version becomes accessible.
Additional services, including translation and interpretation accommodations, are available by contacting TTY (800) 735-2900 or using the statewide Oregon Relay Service: 7-1-1.
The event organizers emphasize that the information should be shared with friends, family, and neighbors, and encourage signing up for email updates to stay informed about project developments.
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) assures the public that they do not discriminate based on disability regarding access to their programs, services, and employment practices, and they are an EEO/AA employer.
For current road conditions and traffic alerts, visit TripCheck.com or call 5-1-1. Additionally, starting May 7, federally accepted ID will be required for flying, prompting the need to be REAL ID ready.
For questions or tech issues related to viewing the announcement, a web version of the email is available.
