Construction related to the I-205 Abernethy Bridge Project in Portland will result in various lane reductions and ramp closures affecting OR 43, OR 99E, and I-205 beginning Monday, April 7. These construction impacts will remain in place until Friday, April 11.

A full overnight closure is scheduled for OR 99E, between the northbound and southbound I-205 ramp interchange, from 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, to 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 13. Ryan McCrary of Oregon Department of Transportation stated, "As with any construction project, closure dates and timing are subject to change."

From April 7-11, the overnight ramp from OR 99E to I-205 northbound will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. This coincides with overnight lane closures on OR 99E northbound during the same hours. During these closures, a single lane in both directions will remain open.

OR 43 will experience overnight northbound lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, as well as daytime flagging on Clackamette Drive from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Wednesday. On I-205 southbound, there will be daytime shoulder closures between exit 10 and exit 9 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Pedestrian detours will also be in place on OR 99E and OR 43.

Despite the planned schedule, McCrary advises that closure dates and times are subject to change, so drivers should stay updated with ongoing announcements.
